Duke loses again

I didn’t watch because I was busy with the OSU-MSU women’s game, but Georgia Tech beat the Devils 71-67 yesterday. At the beginning of the game, the ESPN announcers were hyping Duke so it was a double sweet victory.

Purdue lost its first game of the season at Wisconsin, a tough place to play. Without Evan Turner, Ohio State got blown out of Madison on New Years’ Eve. Evan Turner came back this week, and the Bucks beat Indiana at home but lost at Minnesota. So, OSU is 0-3 on the road in the Big Ten so far.

Kentucky struggled at home yesterday against a surprising Georgia team but came out victorious to remain undefeated.

The Kentucky women lost an overtime heart-breaker at Georgia 61-60. But, that’s going to happen on the road. The Cats play host to Vanderbilt this afternoon, and it will be interesting to see how well the ladies defend the home turf in the SEC.

The Ohio State-Michigan State women’s game was on CBS yesterday, and the Bucks pulled out a squeaker. Samantha Prahalis had a career-high 32 points. She has added a lot more scoring to her game as a sophomore.
