Defending the home turf

The ladies have been doing a good job of defending the home turf.

After losing 13 in-a-row to Vanderbilt, the UK women beat the ‘Dores 63-53 in Lexington last Sunday. It was an up-tempo affair, and close early. After being behind by as much as 10 in the second half, the Cats came storming back. Amber Smith had a career-high 20 points.

After losing at South Carolina Thursday, the Cats rebounded and routed Alabama 88-63 today in Lexington

Since the big win in East Lansing, the Ohio State women have home wins over Illinois and Indiana to remain unbeaten in conference.
