A couple home losses and a taste of Spring

My teams hadn’t suffered any home losses this year until last week. A surging Purdue team came to Columbus and left with a 60-57 victory. Yesterday, the Bucks won in East Lansing, and have now won five Big Ten road games in-a-row.

So, the Bucks need help with Purdue. The Boilers are all alone in first place in the Big Ten with an 11-3 record. Ohio State and Michigan State are 11-4. MSU and Purdue get together in West Lafayette on February 28th.

The Ohio State women were on national TV yesterday but lost to visiting Michigan State in overtime. The Bucks had already wrapped up their sixth Big Ten title in-a-row.

The Kentucky men picked up two road wins last week, but both games were close.

The UK women won two blow-outs at home, including a revenge game over South Carolina yesterday. Kentucky is two games (in the loss column) behind Tennessee in the SEC. I’ll be hoping for LSU to upset the Lady Vols tonight. UK and UT get together later in the week.

We had sunshine and 64 degrees here yesterday. I washed and waxed one of the cars and did some other chores outside. Today I’m working on my taxes and hope to have them done by mid-week.
