A shoutout to the Kermadec Island DXpedition team

I think today is the last full day of the ZL8X operation on Kermadec Island. It’s been an excellent DXpedition by a team of mostly German hams. I worked them on 12m CW a couple weeks ago. Heard them on 17m today but could not work them.

The Blue Jackets continue their downward spiral, having lost 3 more games since my last post. It is now 5 losses in a row.

Tuesday the Ohio State men traveled to Tallahassee to take on Florida State in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. The Bucks won 58-44. OSU is now 5-5 all time in the Challenge, and the Big Ten won the Challenge for the second year in a row. In the women’s version the Bucks had no trouble with Virginia, winning 74-46.

After a lopsided win over Boston, the Kentucky men traveled to Chapel Hill yesterday and lost by 2.

We got about 2.5 inches of snow so far this weekend. This will be followed by cold weather, as tomorrow’s high will only be about 20 degrees.
